We have been running the Express Brake system for over a year now and the brakes have shown a great improvement in lining life. This unit was normally using a set of brakes in 9 months, 97,500 miles. At the last inspection of the pads we were at 14 months and 152,000 miles. The pads could have gone further but, were replaced and the drums were used again...This brake has even reduced the number of brake adjustments we see.

We have been using Express Brake’s system since 2003 on our multi axle trailers. We run extremely heavy loads in high traffic areas. We are getting nearly (3) three times the drum life and over twice the lining life than our old riveted shoes. The stainless steel [brake tables] has totally eliminated any rust issues or cracked linings. We are doing far fewer brake jobs and even getting much better life on our CAM bushings. We are very happy with our experience using Express Brake.

We have been running the Express Brake 25,000 lbs. shoes since January 27, 2005 and the results have been great. We were replacing the riveted shoes every 3 to 4 weeks and with the EBI shoes we went 10 months on the first set we tested...The durms were in excellent condition and we normally replace th drums every brake job. This is a huge savings to us and the down time is greatly reduced...the brakes stop much better and they don't have the loud brake noise we normally have.
