Express Brake™ International, Inc., a Florida company, has developed and patented a new style of air brake shoe and lining system that is a highly attractive and marketable alternative for the heavy duty truck brake shoe industry.

Express Brake™ International's product provides the first major improvement on a traditional brake shoe and lining fabrication and installation in over 60 years.

Express Brake™ International, Inc. was founded in 1996 with a patent on the braking system. Extensive testing and fleet trials began including FMVSS121 testing. Three national testing companies were contracted to test the brake system against industry standards. The brake system has met or exceeded the tolerance criteria for all industry standards for brake systems.

The brake system was initially marketed on a limited basis in select markets in the form of fleet trials. Only in the last few years has the Express Brake™ been available on a large scale through a growing nation-wide distribution system. The rapid growth of Express Brake™ continues to attract new distributors each month. The moderate to severe service segment of the heavy duty truck market continues to be the target market of Express Brake™ International.

In 1998, Express Brake™ International introduced a patented drum handler to the market. The DrumCaddy™ makes easy work out of handling heavy brake drums, minimizing injuries and increasing efficiency in truck shops. The drum tool is simple, easy to use, and very effective for picking up, transporting, removing, and installing outboard drums for standard truck brake drums.

Today Express Brake™ International continues to grow and work with distributors and fleets across the country.
