EBI (Express Brake™ International, Inc.) is a Ocala, Florida company who has emerged as an innovator in the heavy duty truck brake industry. EBI provided the first major improvement on a traditional brake shoe and lining fabrication and installation in over 60 years.

XTREME CAM
Brand new for 2009, XTREME CAM converts your S-CAM into a long journal bearing, extending over the entire length of the S-CAM shaft. XTREME CAM gives you over 10X more bearing surface through it's patented bushing system. Brake Alert™
Recently EBI has developed the Brake Alert™ System, the most visual brake stroke and lining indicator on the market. Brake Alert™ allows drivers to inspect brakes on Pre-Trips without crawling under truck or measuring push rod travel. Drum Caddy™
In 1998, EBI introduced a patented drum handler into the heavy duty brake market. The Drum Caddy™ makes easy work out of handling heavy brake drums, minimizing injuries and increasing efficiency in truck shops. The Drum Caddy™ is simple, easy to use, and very effective for picking up, transporting, removing, and installing outboard drums. Express Brake™
EBI was founded in 1996 with a patent on the original Express Brake™ braking system. Extensive testing and fleet trials began including FMVSS121 testing. Three national testing companies were contracted to test the brake system against industry standards. The Express Brake™ brake system has exceeded the tolerance criteria for all industry standards for brake systems. Express Brake™ has the ability to quick-change linings.
